  • Dr Mark A. Howard

    Mark was born in Gary, Indiana and raised in a small town in the Midwest, he came to Colorado to attend the USAF from 1970-1974. Having falling in love with Colorado he decided to stay and attend Colorado State University Veterinarian College, graduating in 1979. As a young vet Dr Howard worked with Dr Beckvermit at Alameda Vet Clinic from 1980-1986. After having experience with corporate veterinary medicine, he returned to with  Dr Beckvermit in 1994 and purchased the practice from him at that time. Dr. Howard is past president of the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society. He has three grown children and two grandchildren. He is an avid skier and road bicyclist. During his time off he also enjoys swing dancing and spending time with his family and standard poodle, Brindi.

  • Dr Lisa Hart

    Dr Hart has been with Alameda Veterinary Clinic since October 2002. She also attended Colorado State University Veterinarian College, graduating with her degree in Veterinary Medicine.  She works part time, spending the rest of her time raising her two daughters. She has been married for 18 years. Her family is kept busy caring for a Great Dane, Labrador, 2 cats, 2 rats and an ever changing population of fish. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, skiing, hiking, running and spending time with her friends and family.

  • Dr Kathleen Wilks

    Kathy is a native of Colorado, after a year of school at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon the pull of home was too great.  She returned to Colorado to finish her undergrad studies to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1995.  After also experiencing corporate veterinary medicine she is excited to return to a private practice.  Dr. Wilks shares her home with her husband Kevin and very active daughter, as well as a sizable animal menagerie.  During her free time she enjoys cheering at her daughter's soccer games, reading, and hiking with her active Australian Shepherds.

  • Linda Peters

    Linda moved to Colorado in 1988 from Ft Dodge, Iowa. She has worked as a Veterinary Assistant and Office Manager since 1991. Linda shares her home with her husband of 39 years and Weston, her Labrador. She has three grown sons and one grandson, and is currently waiting the arrivle of the first granddaughter. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

  • Melody Waddell

    Melody attended Pima Medical Institute in 2002 for Veterinary Assisting. She started at Alameda Veterinary Clinic in February 2004. Melody is a native to Colorado and currently resides in Denver with her husband. She loves spending time with Diesel her Doberman and Roxy her Min Pin.. Melody enjoys camping, hiking, kickboxing and running. She loves spending quality time with her family and friends.
